Battlefords Interval House provides temporary shelter, support, safety planning, transportation, and referrals to community services and educational resources to support women and their children who are leaving circumstances of violence and abuse.
The shelter is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Battlefords Interval House provides information and education to the public about violence and abuse affecting women and their children. Presentations and resources are shared with community groups and organizations, including schools, health care providers, Indigenous communities, and other local partners.
We also participate in community-based awareness activities such as annual recognition of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women on December 6th.
